RAINWATER IS NEW TO ME, BEING A KENTUCKIAN NOW RESIDENT IN DUBLIN. "RAINWATER RD." is a collection of slide pieces played lap and bottleneck styles, on wooden and resophonic instruments. Some are self-penned instrumentals and others are covers of older blues and gospel items. I particularly like his version of “When the Blood Runs Warm in Your Veins”, attributed to Josh White and played with a nice feel here.
